Breech Baby

I found out my baby was transverse (and later went breech) at my 34 week ultrasound. I saw Meghan three times between that appointment and my 36 week ultrasound, and the baby had flipped into the appropriate position during that time! I also have had back pain throughout my pregnancy that was treated through acupuncture. I have felt significantly less pain after treatments. Meghan was kind and professional and knew exactly how to keep my mind at ease while going through the treatments, ensuring I was comfortable. I am so excited to get the chance to deliver my baby naturally and am grateful for the treatments and care provided by Meghan these last few weeks!

Labor Induction

As I approached my 39th week of pregnancy my BP crept up slowly. I was nervous about needing an induction at the hospital so Meghan performed induction acupuncture. The next day, August 9th, my doctor sent me to be induced at the hospital as I had predicted. I was told it would be a lengthy process, possibly many days, because I was not effaced nor dilated. After only a few hours and half the dose of their first round of medication, my water broke and I cruised to full dilation and pushing in 12 hours. I credit Meghan's acupuncture the prior day with assisting my labor process and helping me avoid a long and painful induction.
